Register your family and enroll each student in their own classes on one form, submitting your registration fee within 24 hours of submission.
Request access to our private Band to stay updated on events, activities, and posts. You are also able to contact teachers and other parents and see & post photos of school activities on our Band.
You will be invoiced a week prior to classes starting for payment or to submit class requests to your charter.
Drop-offs are allowed for middle and high schoolers 6th-12th grades. For classes PAC - 5th grade require a parent or anyone listed on your emergency contacts to be on campus while your student is attending class. We have many spaces to work, relax, and build community!
Classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Each class has a scheduled day and time slot. There may be slight changes each quarter. If so, they will be changed on the class info page or registered and enrolled students will be notified via Band if it is a last minute change.
Each class ranges from 1.0 hr to 1.5 hrs. Each quarter is 8 weeks as noted on the SY Academic Calendar. Any weeks taken off are also noted on the Calendar.
Each class has a Quarter, Semester, or Year commitment requirement. Taking a quarter class is a good way to experience our community. However, certain classes that require a year long commitment are designed with scaffolded instruction and skills are built upon as the term goes by. At that point it is difficult to replace any students that drop, thereby leaving the teacher without full compensation. Therefore, any students that enroll in a year-long class is committing to the full school year. Should they abruptly decide to quit, they are still held financially responsible for the balance for the remainder of the year. If that balance remains unpaid, they are forfeiting their membership to participate in any and all of our community classes and events.
If you are not affiliated with a Charter School (CS) you are paying Out-of-Pocket (OOP).
OOP: You will be invoiced 1 week prior to the first day of each month according to classes you enrolled in. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes in class enrollment. You may Zelle your monthly amount due or you may pay in cash or check the first day of class for that month. A $25 late fee will be added to your invoice for any invoices not paid on time.
CS: At this time, Two Trees Tutoring is a vendor with Golden Valley Charter School (GVCS) only. Upon receiving your monthly invoice, please use it to submit your class requests to your EF/Teacher. This will generate a Purchase Order (PO) which we will receive. The names, dates, and amounts on the PO must match the class info on the invoice. If there are any errors you and your EF will be contacted immediately to revise it ASAP. The PO MUST be accurate prior to beginning all classes. If a PO does not cover all classes, you (the client) are responsible for any remaining balance.
Unfortunately not. Two Trees Tutoring is an approved vendor for Golden Valley Charter School (GVCS). If you wish us to become an approved vendor for your charter school, please request us. However, the process does take some time and is not guaranteed approval. Please take this into consideration when budgeting and enrolling in classes.
Unfortunately, charter funds are not accepted for these fees. These funds are needed right away and we are unable to wait for charter funds to be sent. These fees are billed separately and should be paid promptly so as not to risk a $25 late fee.
All classes must have a minimum of 4 students enrolled, otherwise they will be cancelled for the stated term. A lot of time and resources go into planning our classes. While we love teaching, our time must be fairly compensated. We try to keep our individual costs as low as possible by offering group classes. If you still wish to take the class that has been cancelled it may be possible to work it out as a 1:1 weekly tutoring session at the teacher's discretion at an individual tutoring rate.
Yes! While you are still required to register and pay for your family as a member of the Santa Paula HomeSchool Community (SPHC), please take advantage of the free clubs, classes, events, field trips, etc! We do ask that families commit to attending regularly. Our teachers/advisors/coordinators volunteer their time and provide some of the materials at no cost. Consistent attendance helps honor that gift while creating the best experience for all students. We understand that occasional absences happen, but we appreciate your commitment to participating as often as possible.
